Level 5 Beam

On beam, Level 5 gymnasts start with a Fish to Front Support Mount. For acro, they have their choice of:

  • Back Walkover (150º)

  • Backward Roll to 3/4 Handstand

  • Back Handspring step out

  • Back Handspring 2 feet

  • Front Walkover (150º)

After the acro skill, Level 5 gymnasts perform a 1/1 Full Passé Turn in relevé. For jumps, level 5 gymnasts perform a Split Jump showing at least 150º leg separation before a Sissonne. Next, is a Scale (above horizontal) before the Leap showing at least 150º leg separation. Level 5 gymnasts perform a Stretch Jump and then a Cartwheel into a punch Stretch Jump. For a dismount from beam, Level 5 gymnasts do a Back Tuck.


Level 5 Bars

To mount the bars, Level 5 gymnasts can either Straddle or Pike Kip. Once on the bar, gymnasts need a cast to above horizontal. Next is their choice of circling skill:

  • Clear hip circle above horizontal

  • Back Sole Circle to clear support

  • Back Stalder to clear support

After the circle, gymnasts have their choice again between a Straddle or Pike kip. Then, Level 5 gymnasts Cast Squat-On or perform a Cast 360º Back Solar Circle before a Jump to Long Hang Kip on the high bar.

Level 5 gymnasts should Cast to above horizontal on the high bar before doing a Long Hang Pullover. Next is a series of Underswing, Counterswing,

Tap Swing, another Counterswing and then the final Tap Swing. To dismount bars, Level 5 gymnasts have their choice between a tuck, pike or layout flyaway.


Level 5 Floor

To begin the Level 5 floor routine, gymnasts have their choice of front acro:

  • Front Tuck

  • Side Aerial

  • Front Aerial

Next, gymnasts go into an acro series of two Front Handspring step-outs, a Cartwheel and a Back Extension Roll. Next, gymnasts do a Stretch Jump Full 1/1 (360º) turn, a Straight/Switch Leap and Straddle Jump - both showing at least 150º leg separation. Level 5 gymnasts perform a full split next, before a Full 1/1 (360º) Passé Turn. For the final acro pass, gymnasts perform a Round-Off, Back Handspring, Back Tuck.


Level 5 Vault

On vault, Level 5 gymnasts perform a Front Handspring over the vault table set to any manufacturer setting.
